A common question we get is how to send the quiz results automatically via email to the user that just completed the quiz.
Following are the steps to do just that (please note that it requires an account on Zapier.com)
Step #1 - Create a quiz with an integrated lead form
Integrate a lead form in your quiz to gather the user email. You can request additional fields as needed. For example, if you would like to personalize the email ask for the users name as well.
Step #2 - Open an account on Zapier.com (if you don't have one already)
Zapier.com serves as a mediator between 1000's of different applications. In addition, it includes a native email sender so that you can send emails directly from zapier.com. If you prefer sending the emails via Gmail, Mailchimp or any other email marketing program you can do that as well by selecting the relevant integration in Zapier.
In this example we will assume you want to send the emails using the internal Zapier email sender.
Step #3 - Create a Zap and copy the Webhook
a) In the Zapier.com dashboard, click the Make a Zap! button and add a name to the Zap.
b) Select Webhooks from the Build-in Apps, select Catch Hook and click save + continue.
c) Copy the displayed Webhook code.
Step #4 - Paste the Webhook code you copied in your Quiz on Opinion Stage
a) Edit your Opinion Stage Quiz
b) Under Settings > Integrations > Enable custom Webhook, paste the Webhook code that was copied from Zapier, click Save, and then remember to save the quiz with the webhook
c) Take the quiz as if you are a user - this will send the submitted data to Zapier for testing
Step #5 - Configure the Email you want to send
a) In the Zapier dashboard, under Action, click Choose App and select Email by Zapier
b) Select Send Outbound Email and click Continue
c) Enter the different fields of the email using the parameters from your quiz/survey and click Continue
d) Click Test & Review to see that it works
e) Click Turn on Zap
You're done!
