100's of clients use Opinion Stage to create polls & surveys for their Squarespace sites. Polls and surveys are used for many different use cases such as driving engagement, gathering feedback, getting insights on your audience, and more.

Following are the steps for adding a Squarespace poll or survey to your site:

Step #1 - Create a Poll or Survey

Create a poll for asking your audience 1 quick question. You can either create the poll from scratch or start with one of our poll templates.

Create a survey if you would like to ask multiple questions of different types. With surveys you can ask both close-ended questions and open-ended questions. Note that you can create the survey from scratch or using one of our survey templates.

Step #2 - Copy the Embed Code

To get the poll/survey embed code click on the “Embed & Share” button. From the dialog that is displayed, go to the “iframe” tab, click on ‘Get iframe Embed Code’, and copy the code.

Step #3 - Add the Poll or Survey code to your Squarespace site

Start by determining if you would like to add the poll / survey to an existing page or to a new one. You will notice a “+” sign on the top right side of the page you selected. Clicking it will display a drop-down menu.

In the drop-down menu select the Code option:

Paste the embed code you copied in step #2 above:

Click the save action on the top\left;
