You can optimize your Meta/Facebook campaigns based on user interactions within an Opinion Stage quiz, form or survey, by using a Meta conversion pixel.
You can set the pixel to fire based on the step or question a user reaches, for example upon survey/quiz submission.
To configure the Meta pixel:
Edit your item
Click the Connect tab
Click the Meta pixel tab
Configure the pixel ID & set the step when it should be fired
Before you begin, make sure you:
Have a sufficient Meta account level (Business or above).
Have your item published.
Have configured the pixel for the specific item you are testing.
Turn off any kind of ad blockers when testing pixels—these tracking mechanisms are often blocked very effectively. Ad blockers can be:
Browser plugins such as Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin.
DNS-based blockers, a more advanced type often installed by tech-savvy users on their router, or in corporate networks by system administrators.
In some cases, your target audience may have ad blockers enabled on a large scale. For example, programmers tend to be privacy-conscious and often use ad blockers. Keep this in mind when analyzing results.
Note: Data can take about 30 minutes to appear in your Facebook dashboard.
