You can save changes without publishing after the initial publish. Changes are auto-saving, keeping your updates unpublished until you're ready. If you want to edit an item that's already published and publish the changes immediately, you can use the Publish button.
Items with unpublished changes will be marked as "unpublished edits" in your list.
The Publish button will only be enabled if there are new changes.
