Opinion Stage has a native integration with Mailchimp that allows you to send email leads and associated fields you capture in Opinion Stage items directly to your Mailchimp account.
Before setting up the integration, verify that your item has a lead form with an email field configured and that it is published.
To set up the integration follow these steps:
In your item, go to the Connect tab and then to the Mailchimp sub-tab
Enable the Mailchimp integration, and then click the Authenticate button. Follow the instructions to authenticate your Mailchimp account
3. After authenticating the account you will be able to choose the Mailchimp audience
4. You can now map the email you gathered in your item and additional fields to the merge fields in Mailchimp
You can also configure to require a double opt-in before adding an email to your list. Double opt-in means, that the user will get a confirmation email after submitting the item. Only if the user confirms the addition will the contact be added to Mailchimp.
5. Lastly, you can configure to add tags to the contacts you gathered. You can either add a global tag to all the added contacts, or you can add different tags based on the closing screen the user gets (this is relevant only if you have multiple closings in your item as you do in personality quizzes)
After completing all the configurations, click Save, and your done!
