Opinion Stage’s image upload tool will let you search for images in Google, use your own images from different sources (e.g. Dropbox, Facebook, etc.), or purchase images from leading repositories (e.g. Shutterstock).

Important note: The image upload tool also allows you to filter images that are free to modify, change, and share for commercial usage. Make sure you are only using images you have the rights to:

You can then crop the selected image to different sizes. The image should be:

  • not larger than 2000 x 1000 px,

  • not smaller than 100 x 50 px,

  • up to 2 MB in size.

Recommended image dimensions

When creating engaging quizzes, surveys, and polls on the Opinion Stage platform, using the correct image dimensions can enhance the user experience.

  1. Cover images, closing images & images under/above the question: We recommend a 16:9 image ratio and verify that the image is at least 800px wide x 450px high.

  2. Supported image dimensions include 4:3, 16:9, 2:1, 1:1, and 3:4. Ensure you select the dimension that best suits your images.

  3. Thumbnail images: We recommend using a 1:1 ratio, with a minimum image size of 200 x 200 px.

Other recommendations

  • Please ensure that your original image quality is high enough to avoid pixelation when adjusting the dimensions.

  • Consider testing your image display on different devices to verify proper scaling and alignment.
