Make your items engaging by adding visual media! This guide covers how to add images, GIFs, and videos to different parts of your item, how to manage media, and the recommended sizes and formats.

Add media to the cover, questions & closings
Add images, GIFs, or videos to your item’s cover, questions, and closing screen to make your content more engaging and visually dynamic.
Add an image or GIF
Open your item's cover, question, or closing and select the Content tab.
Click Image under the Add media section:
Choose from:
Search bar
Uploading from your device
Pasting a URL
Searching via Unsplash, Shutterstock, iStock, or Dropbox
Crop the image/GIF if needed and click Crop to upload, or Skip to keep the original size:
Select a layout:
Media above the title/description
Media below the title/description
Media as a background behind the text
For cover, questions and closings, we recommend using a 16:9 aspect ratio, as this works best for media placed above or below the title/description. That said, we don’t enforce 16:9, you’re free to crop the media or use any dimensions you prefer. When using media as a background, we recommend choosing dimensions that work best for the amount of text you present.
Add a video
Open your item's cover, question, or closing and select the Content tab.
Click Video under the Add media section:
Paste a video link from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, or Instagram.
Click Add video:
Add media to answer options (multiple-choice question type)
Use images, GIFs, or videos to make your answers more interactive and visual.
Add images or GIFs to answers
Select a multiple-choice question.
In the Content tab, choose one of these layouts:
Standard (text only)
Rectangle images (adjustable media ratio: 1:1, 2:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:4)
Rounded images (recommended media ratio: 1:1)
Thumbnail images (recommended media ratio: 1:1)
Once the layout (and ratio, if you have chosen the rectangle image layout) has been selected, click the Upload Image button for each answer option. Choose from:
Search bar
Uploading from your device
Pasting a URL
Searching via Unsplash, Shutterstock, iStock, or Dropbox
Crop the image/GIF if needed and click Crop to upload, or Skip to keep the original size:
Add videos to answers
Switch to the Rectangle image layout.
Change media type to Video.
Click the Upload video icon for each answer.
Paste a video link (supported platforms: YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram):
Media management and sizing
Replace or remove media
Click the three-dot menu on an image or video.
Choose:
Replace to upload a new file.
Remove to delete the media.
Image settings to edit alt text and attribution.
Recommended image sizes
Follow these guidelines for the best visual experience:
Max size: 2000 × 1000 px
Min size: 100 × 50 px
Max file size: 2 MB
Additional tips
Use high-resolution images to avoid pixelation.
Test your visuals on different devices to ensure proper scaling and alignment.
