Step 1: Create Your Personality Quiz and Capture Leads
Start by designing your personality quiz with a built-in lead form to capture essential information, such as the user’s email address. You can read more about adding a lead form to your quiz here.
Step 2: Set Up a Zapier Account and Integrate Apps
If you’re new to Zapier, sign up for an account. To get started with automating your emails, follow these steps:
Trigger App: In Zapier, create a new workflow called a “Zap” and select Opinion Stage as the trigger app.
Trigger Event: Choose the New Response event, which activates each time a user completes your quiz.
Step 3: Personalize Results with Conditional Zaps
If your quiz has multiple outcomes and you want to send different emails depending on each user’s result, Zapier’s filters allow you to set specific rules for each possible outcome. Here’s how:
Create separate Zaps for each Quiz result: You’ll need a unique Zap for each quiz result. For example, if there are three possible outcomes, create three Zaps.
Add Filters to each Zap: Use Filter by Zapier to control which leads proceed based on specific quiz results. Set a condition, such as "Result Title contains 'Balanced Foodie'," to limit the action to only those users who received the "Balanced Foodie" result.
Filters in Zapier set conditions that control when a Zap proceeds. If a result matches (e.g., the title contains "Balanced Foodie"), the Zap triggers the campaign email; if not, it stops, ensuring emails reach only relevant subscribers. Filters are ideal for narrowing down leads and personalizing follow-ups based on unique quiz results or other criteria.
Step 4: Set up Email by Zapier as the Action App
Action App: Select Email by Zapier, a built-in tool that allows you to send emails.
Action Event: Choose the Send Outbound Email action.
Configure: Select a relevant field from your Personality Quiz to determine the recipient of the email.
Step 5: Test and Activate Your Zaps
Test each Zap to confirm the correct email campaign triggers for each result, then activate.

Important Note: If you choose Add Subscriber to Group as the Action Event, set up an automation in MailerLite to trigger a campaign email whenever a new subscriber joins that group.
